TADAz... This IS the ONE... THe Laksa... I would like to thank the following people who have made this possible... JENNY THONG and KK... who bought and brought the Laksa paste ALL the way from Spore to BKK... and the helpful staff from Siam paragon gourmet market who patiently allowed me to buy only 5 prawns when people usually buy in kgs... and the staff who gave me tau gay which of pretty lousy quality and i had such a hard time plucking away the head and the tail of the tau gay.. just to make my laksa look perfect... and this other staff who shot me a very wierd look on how i only bought 15 grams of the dried shrimp... i cannot finish mah... and of course, Mr jeffery who agreed to go 7-11 to buy coconut milk after i realised i forgot to get it from the supermarket, also his generousity in bringing his frying pan and bowls from 1701 to our room as my frying pan is not in a usuable state anymore after frying the hainanese chicken rice.. yes... but here.. this Laksa, depite being short of the Laksa Leave and the chilli paste.. it was still really really DELICIOUS... My first attempt... cos i have never tried cooking this... everything was new.. it was a challenge...
