In Singapore, SMU double-degree graduates interviewed said they have an edge in the job market.
Ms Melissa Ong, 25, now a Citibank management associate in consumer banking, snagged her job four months before graduation.
It was one of three offers that the double-degree graduate in business management and accountancy received.
Said Ms Ong: 'It was hectic studying for two degrees in four years. I had to take up courses even during the university's annual long break, between April and July. But it was well worth it come job-hunting time.'
