Good Thursday

I love this movie. I really do. After Made of Honour, this is another MUST-WATCH for the month of May.
I kind of enjoyed my day. It would be perfect except that I had a little tad too much foodie today.
I forgot to pass this bun i bought from my fav bakery at raffles city to papa, I ended up eating 2 for breakfast & a packet of peel fresh pink guava juice. For lunch, I had scrumptious crab cakes, spring rolls as starters, Yokitori set and a combination of warm chocolate cake, sorbets, creams and two other dessert combination at guess where? Grand Hyatt, Mezza 9!
I had a 2.5 hr biz lunch which turned out to be more of a chit chat session with a very cool and witty, humourous lady. That was a lovely lunch.
I snacked before dinner because the accomplice said that he wanted to eat like this and that, after i told him that i just wanted that, and i meant like "perhaps" but he confirmed it.
Dinner was 3.5/5 on average cos i was firstly, too full, and secondly, I didnt get to eat my porridge the way i used to.
It was time well spent as i shopped for HPs as my Mio contract has just ended and im all ready to get it renewed with a new hp!
Soccer at the arcade was pretty value for money cos one game lasted so long and I was like a mad lady whinning, screaming and making a fuss at the terminal as i tried to navigate those mexican soccer player.
LAstly, the movie was fantastic. I laughed pretty hard, i teared a bit, and basically, my emotions were all being carried by the plot of the show.
The company was asolutely fantabulous. It's been a long while since i get to watch movie this way. Im addicted to it too.

Welcome me

Im Back in Town!

It's been a crazy week for me. Not so much during work but more of all the after-work events.

I went to Acid bar on mon.

Wine bar and phuture on Wed with 3 buddies. That was the first time i went clubbing with 3 guys. And that was also the first time the people im with drank so much in sg. 2 jugs of long island tea, almost 1 bottle of chivas and b4 that in wine bar some cheap and nice 1-for-1 drinks. I didnt drink as much cos all of them made sure i dun get drunk. All took care of me. I was just dead tired for the rest of the week. How tired was I?

I feel asleep in the cinema and I missed first half of Indiana Jones. That was the first time i fell asleep on a show.

Next show I caught was Made of Honour. I loved this show. I loved this Genre of movie. It was a nice comical romance, or maybe, a romantic comedy.

Anyway, to tell you the truth, Im trying to adjust back to my life in sg. This may sound strange but that's the truth.

More to come..

Final Lap

Yes. Gotta Endure. It's going to be over soon.

I cant wait for Friday to come. I wanna leave this place ASAP. Not that I hate this place, i dun. I just cant wait to get out of this. This place can be pretty emotionally stifling, although it is also a place that I got nurtured and grew in this industry.

Up next: Dinner With Finance Dept Managers, Dinner with my Team for Engineering & Finance, Lastly, Dinner with all the engineering dept managers, PEs, CTOs and my Engineering team.

I havent done any packing. There are so much to lug back to sg. I hope they dun keep the room for me cos i would like to still go back to my hotels the next time i come back.

I know it wont be long before I come back to this place again.

Still, I look forward to returning home.

Impending Closure

A few things on hand are coming to an end, a few of them have in my perspective, already ended.

It's good closure none-the-less.

I manage to complete a project that no one dared nor felt optimistic enough to want to take on. The feeling of completing an impossible job that took me a good 6 months is rewarding me with a sense of satisfaction nothing else have ever brought me.

Ironically, there are issues which I have tried my very best to resolve, to attend to, and throughout the whole process, I lost myself, I became non-chalent, I hide my true feelings, up to an eventual point, I know, it is time to let go and move on. I will.

I am looking forward to returning home. Like what i told the babes back at home, i seem to have some sort of identity crisis. Whenever im away from sg, I would yearn to get back soon. When I stay in Sg too long, i would like to get out ASAP. I must be a nomad somewhere down the past lives that I had lived. I would think of it as "lives" because there are too many aspects of me that seem to be of conflicting nature and I cant tell then, which of these are my fundamental natures. I am a person who has traits from a few extreme ends. That is also something that people have been telling me.

I am the kind who loves marketing & finance.
I am kiddish and would grin like a two year old kid upon savouring my fav food yet I can be quite mature and stern, and to some extent, when someone crosses my line, a stuck up bitch who makes things really difficult for these assholes out there.
I love leaving & returning to SG.
I can be very open to ideas and certain decisions & at the same time be extremely headstrong on things I believe so. Only logic can convince me. But if you know how, I do have great empathy on many things and people and these are my soft spots that could make me change my thinking.
I believe in beauty and brains, not that I think im super chio or what, but i believe that it is possible and very often, essential to have these two aspects soaring for greater heights constantly.

Im not sure how long I would get to REST in SG this time round before I start having my passport stamped again. In any case, im happy to move into another phase of my career.

Im once again invited to join SMU alumni. Im tempted to do so. I miss all the SMU pals. I enjoy hanging out with seniors. However, im afraid that i cant commit. Shall see.

I need to start hitting the orchard hotel gym and pool. My health would greatly degenerate otherwise.

Gotta prepare for my GMAT. I have been neglecting it big time man. Gotta register for it real soon too.

MISS meeting my niece and nephew and my family.
Cant wait to get into just any of the SG cinemas to catch a show.
I am looking forward to even walking around J8, sipping coffee with SY.
Having lunch and talking rubbish with all my lunch kakis... haha...

Yay... Counting down!

Looking forward....

I would highly recommend this Water sleeping pack from Laneige. This is one of the best product I have ever tried for night moisturiser. Above all, it is not sticky nor oily and the special fragrance that comes with it seems to have some aroma therapeutic effect. Here goes:

Transparent leave-on gel mask applied before bedtime. Hydration is provided according to the 8 hour sleeping rhythm so that you can benefit from more scientific skin care regime. If you apply it 2~3 times a week, you can experience more smoothed skin texture.
After washing the face apply the skin refiner and emulsion. → Take the proper amount (2.5cm in diameter) and evenly spread it over the entire face. 20 minutes later when the mask is completely absorbed, go to bed leaving it iAfter washing the face apply the skin refiner and emulsion. → Take the proper amount (2.5cm in diameter) and evenly spread it over the entire face. 20 minutes later when the mask is completely absorbed, go to bed leaving it intact. → in the next morning, use a usual cleansing foam to rinse the face.

Since I got it from the Incheon Airport, Seoul, I believe i got it for a steel for i only paid USD 14 and i saw in one of the fashion magazines in China, it's retails price is 255 RMB = $50 SGD!!

Guess what?

During my upcoming stopover in Seoul, Im going to visit the Laneige flagship store. I used to hold reservations about the quality of the Laneige product. No more. This one random sampling made me hold great confidence in their products. I guess I will grab a few of their make up too since im already in SEOUL.

Check this out: http://www.laneige.com/brand/store_laneige.jsp

Im also eagerly waiting for my COACH http://www.coach.com/default.aspx?cm_sp=TopNav-_-t-_-CoachHome to arrive from the US.

Cant wait.. cant wait to leave for Seoul, cant wait to get back to SG....

Im also looking forward to the world book fair to be held at suntec this end MAy. http://www.bookfair.com.sg/

Home sick

I cant wait to get home. I just cant.

I miss my friends. Yes. All of YOU.

For some strange reason, i miss SMU a LOT too.

Sy, Belle, Nette, Wongso.
Tracy, Chris, Tarn, Nas.
Raoul clique...
JC clique
my lunch time kakis & ex colleagues

I cant wait to finish this last bit, which happens to be the most boring part of the whole project. Though the sense of satisfaction is there, my deliverables are now piling up in black ring files on my table and I have to go through them all.. 1 by 1. How boring!

This tiny brain of mine is imprisoned in this tiny office of this big province of a huge country at the moment.

I wanna run to the kim chih land fast!

I wanna go back to the good old MEE POK LAND!, meet up with everyone, talk the lohs and lahs, do a bit of clubbing, potluck, lots of chilling, chatting, and tons of updating on everyone's lives at the moment. See more faces. Familiar faces.

Counting down im counting down YES.

Haha.. one more person to hang out with in SG office for the coming 2 months. Got Yao an intern position in my dept-to-be.

I do not wanna stay here any longer. I deserve to be back in SG for AT LEAST 1 MONTH B4 I TAKE THE PLANE AGAIN!!!

ARRGGHHH
