Ok, i have finally found a nice place in Chula where i can use wireless and have a plug point. Apparently that is an extremely difficult task cos i have been trying to do that for the past few days and i havent been very successful. I MISS SMU!!! The facilities in school is just too good and i think back home, im just a spoilt uni student... Spoilt by the facilities.
Im down with a flu... While having bread this morning, i watched the documentary of the Avian Bird flu virus on how it affected and started in Vietnam. Oh my gosh... This family contacted the virus after they killed a duck and made duck blood soup to celebrate their new year. And everyone in the family was tested positive for the virus but only the brother and sister in the family developed the symptoms and had to be hospitalised. The brother got really badly damaged and infected lungs.. he couldnt walk and even feed himself after he recovered from the virus. The sister was left unscarred. The highlight of the day... The Ah Gong in the family neither developed symptoms nor felt unwell. He could prolly be still spreading the virus or so , somehow he had immunity for the virus. ISnt it amazing.
And then... i could barely finish my bread then cos the dinner i had yesterday was soya sauce duck from the food court and apparently there were these tofu-look a like things that were maroon in colour that was served with it. I contemplated for a rather long time about eating it cos we have like pig's blood in our pig organ soup in singapore and i thought like oh... they like to eat pig's blood with duck meat. Only this morning.... did i realise, that that was duck blood... Thank god i didnt touch those things yesterday.
Talking about food... I hope i dun need to vist NKF when or become diabetic after this 4 months here cos the food is just SO SO SO SALTY and the drinks are just SO SO SO SWEET!!!!! Even the food in school... And my lips are perpetually dry cos other than the scorching sun... and i really mean "scorching" here.. cos back in singapore in primary when i first learnt how to use this word, i couldnt really picture how a sun can be scorching hot until these few days... i know PRolly Thailand is one of the few places on earth that you can say that the sun actually "scorches"...HAha... not sure if this word exist.
Summer is coming to visit me this weekend. I got here to help me get stuff from Watsons in singapore. AHha... hope she doesnt mind. I think i will bring her to the grand palace this weekend. Cos i wanna go too.. HAha...
Actually this sat Chula is having this big football match against Thammasat... supposedly the kind that Yale has against Harvard in the US... hahah... I still remember this line from Ervin yeo... he told kk or something that during one of the matches... the yale people had this "Huck Farvard" thingy. , by the way he is from Yale....im not sure if its on the shirt or poster but that was really funni i thought. To support chula... im suppose to be in Pink!! Im not sure if i should go cheer Chula or go Shopping with summer...
Hmm... The number one place that i really wanna go right now is HO CHi Minh city.... REally wanna go there....
Anyway, i have already booked my return ticket... 8th May 06. Flying back to singapore.
Wanted to go to the snake farm today... but JY is having some project meeting....
